Funding the next generation of business owners. No college required.
Some people take the traditional path, while others build their own. At Team Calimlim Real Estate, we believe college isn’t the only way to succeed – and our CEO is living proof. Without a degree, Lynn Calimlim built a thriving real estate business from the ground up with nothing but passion and grit. Now we are paying it forward.
The Entrepreneurial Spirit Grant Opportunity is a private grant for North Creek High School graduates who are not planning to attend college, but instead want to launch something of their own. If this sounds like you, we want to hear your vision!
This opportunity is for high school students who:
You do not need to have perfect grades, prior business experience, or a full plan – just passion, potential and a vision.
If you have ever dreamed of starting something of your own (i.e a clothing brand, a bakery, a landscaping business, a beauty line, a tech idea) we want to hear from you!
(to be used for classes, licenses, equipment, materials, branding, etc.)
You will have the option to meet with Team Calimlim Real Estate team members and CEO to get advice, talk through your ideas, and stay supported.
We will feature your journey on our platform and offer continued encouragement as you grow.
We’ve created this sponsorship with access and equity in mind. Check out our Applicant Resource PDF for:
We are committed to creating an inclusive and equitable program. All applicants will be considered without attention to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, immigration status, or socioeconomic background.
We strongly encourage students from underrepresented backgrounds to apply.
If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian will need to sign off. You’ll see a section at the end of the application just for them.
This is a private grant funded by Team Calimlim Real Estate Company. It is not affiliated with any government agency or public foundation. This grant is a one-time financial award intended to support graduating high school students who are choosing to pursue entrepreneurship or creative ventures instead of attending college. The grant is not a prize for past performance or payment for services rendered. If awarded, items or services for business purposes may be purchased directly by TCRE on the recipient’s behalf. If direct funds are provided and total $600 or more, recipients may be asked to complete a W-9 form so Team Calimlim Real Estate can comply with IRS reporting rules. It is the recipient’s responsibility to consult a tax professional regarding potential tax implications.
